展覧会のテーマは「生きる　‐次の50年へ‐」を決めたのは沖縄の方言「命どぅ宝（ぬちどぅたから）」という言葉（命こそ宝という意味）。コロナ禍、戦争、深刻な世界政治、差別社会の今、根本的な原因は宗教の違いと相手のことを大切にしていないことだと思っております。50年は二つの意味、沖縄本土復帰50周年と日中国交正常化50周年。次の50年は、どのように生きていくのか。相手の立場から考える、相手を理解するための努力、愛を分け合う。 今回、5名の著名アーティストさんにお声がけし、合計23名のアーティストさんのご協力を頂けました。 残酷な現実、悲しい気持ちではなく、希望と愛がある様々なジャンルの作品を展示いたします。 今を生きる、未来へ生きる。 招待作家 石川真生（美術館所蔵コレクション） 照屋勇賢　山川さやか　阪田清子　喜屋武千恵　 参加作家 高田陽子　平良優季　蒼宮　前川麗香　Minotan　小泉ゆりか　mysen　奥間空　 馬漪楠　下川樹也　知花玲央　山口有紀子　Dorota Quiroz　上原長将 RYO RIE La ∞ COSMIC LIGHT ART 李毓琪 MADZINE キュレーション 周之㑾 This year’s theme, “Live - Toward the Next 50 Years”, was chosen based on the Okinawan phrase "Nuchidotakara", meaning “life is a treasure”. We believe that the root cause of today’s issues, the coronavirus disaster, war, worldwide political unrest, and a discriminatory society, is religious differences and a fundamental lack of respect for others. 2022 marks two 50-year anniversaries in Japan: the normalization of relations between Japan and China, and the return of Okinawa to mainland Japan. And so how shall we live over the next 50 years to come? Thinking from others’ points of view, striving to understand each other, and sharing love. We are seeking works where there is hope and love, not the reality of cruelty and sadness. Live in the present, live for the future.
